Our client obtained a change in planning to remove all the timber cladding and replace with render to the main building and a metal profile to the external fire escapes. We tendered for the project and successfully entered into a contract in March 2020, with the country entering into a lockdown due to the Covid 19 pandemic, we managed to secure materials and carry on working as the nature of the work was considered essential.

We made arrangements to mitigate risk with regular meetings to manage social distancing and correct procedure. The site is a fully occupied building and regular updates was maintained throughout construction, with the managing agent and leaseholders briefed on timelines and progress.
