HORIZON HOUSE

A full refurbishment of the old tax office situated in the heart of Sunderland City Centre. A 10 storey building built in the 60's with an underground basement level car park. JSG brought this tired, under-utilised building back to life with a residential conversion by significantly improving the appearance, value and performance of the existing building. A full strip out was completed, taking the building back to its bare bones, creating 154 apartments with a GDV of £10m, which has been successfully completed and delivered to the client.

The building residents will benefit from amenities such as cinema room, fitness room, fully equipped gym, conference room, IT facilities, and a lounge/coffee area. Further works are scheduled for a restaurant and cafe, which will create community cohesion by opening up the building and providing use for the general public.
