PROJECT SUMMARY
Former home of Sir Richard Arkwright sitting high up on the hill opposite Massons mill. This grade 2 listed manor house was converted into a boutique hotel with 40 en- suites. We also rebuilt the side of the house in compliance with English heritage, which had previously collapsed.
As Listed Building specialists, JSG also executed the conversion of 6 residential apartments on the wing opposite to the house and built a 6 car garage.
PROJECT HIGHLIGHTS
Converted from a grade 2 listed mansion, it was granted full planning permission for a 32 bedroom boutique hotel with 7 apartments.
With over 27,000 sq ft of space and 40 acres it has been a pleasure to complete and is now open as a fully operational hotel. Backing onto the regionally renowned cable cars ‘Heights of Abraham’ Cable Car, well placed to capture high end luxury tourism travelers in the area.
